Precision Air Pressure Control for Extruded Tubing Applications

Product Overview

The Model AC3 includes an integrated digitally controlled precision air compressor to provide the process air supply without connecting to the customer plant air supply. It is optimal for situations such as clean rooms where plant air may not be available or where the plant air supply is not sufficiently clean for the manufacturing process. The AC3 is optimized for the production of thin walled and small diameter tubing. With the AC3, pressure can be controlled and displayed in increments of 0.001 in-H2O.The AC3 comes standard with an integrated 4.3” color touchscreen interface.

Standard Features

  • 1 and 2 Port Systems Available
  • Does not require an external bleed valve system. The unit has its own internal active bleed valve
  • Gets on set point very quickly (Approx.: 25ms) minimizing the production of scrap material
  • Digital remote setpoint adjustment for closed loop control with customer's OD or Wall gauge
  • Adjustable alarm feature for High or Low pressure. Alarm indicator displayed on touchscreen and digital output supplied for line equipment interface
